Required Skills for this DB2 DBA/Data Architect position include the following:

Experience with Data Conversion and Transformation
Must have used an ETL tool to perform Data Mapping and workflows for moving data across multiple platforms
Experience with Backup and Recovery using RMAN and other backup software
Must demonstrate good analytical skills as they relate to Data Identification and Mapping
Minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience working in the generation, installation, and maintenance of resident software packages, of which eight (8) years have been in administering server-based Oracle and DB2 databases
Must possess demonstrated skill and experience in:

Data Warehouse
RAC
Crystal Reporting
Red Hat Linux

Experience installing and/or using vendor tools such as:

TOAD
Oracle OEM
ERWIN

Must have experience building physical models, including the ability to reverse-engineer a physical model form (i.e. DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server)
Must have experience working with different databases, as well as Backup and Recovery strategies
Must be flexible and able to multi-task
Must be able to work within deadlines
Must be team-oriented, but also able to work independently
Excellent oral communication skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of DB2 on OS290 or running on another operating system a plus, Oracle databases on windows platforms a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with:

DB2V7 or greater
Oracle 10g
SQL Server 2005

Familiarity with vendor products used to support the database, such as:
Oracle Enterprise Manager
RAC
TOAD
ERWIN
ETL
Data Dictionary (Repository)
Red Hat Linux

Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to Have):

Special consideration given to candidates who have database experience with Middleware
Experience working on various Microsoft systems
Experience with Disaster and/or Data Recovery Planning and Implementation
Experience building and/or maintaining Data Warehouse/Data Marts
