Job Listing: Technician I (DSP) (CP)

Double Sided Polisher & Continuous Polisher:

The following job description is for entry-level training in the continuous polishing and the Double Sided Polishing department in the Manufacturing II Department. It is important the candidate is motivated and seeking a career and be willing to work to establish themselves. The candidates must have a good understanding of mathematics and hold the ability to learn or have knowledge of converting decimal and fraction values as well as metric values. Good communication skills are needed and the candidate must be willing to keep their machines and work areas clean. This is a temporary position with an opportunity to move forward permanently with our client. We have openings for day and swing shifts. Day shifts are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, swing shifts are from 3:00pm to 1:30am


Required Skills

The CP & DSP Trainee will be expected to enter into the polishing area and immediately start to assist the Technicians in the operation and running of the polishers. All aspects of the training include, but are not limited to, part preparation for the polishers, surface quality inspection, interpreting interferometer data, machine maintenance and cleanliness, and working as part of a team.
