Job Listing: Quality & Reliability Engineer
Work with Product Development teams to design quality and reliability into new mobile communication products and to improve existing product designs. By using proactive quality principles like design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), design verification testing (DVT), 4 corners testing and highly accelerated life testing (HALT) you are responsible for product quality and reliability. You will need to provide quality requirements for product development teams and verify those requirements are met.
Work with operations teams to implement quality and process control in manufacturing and contract manufacturers. Responsible for DMT, IQC, ICT, Burn In, ORT, OOBA and ESS testing. Interface with external customers and responsible internal groups including Engineering, Service, Operations, and Program Management to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Also, responsible for defining manufacturing requirements, measuring results, and providing root cause analysis and corrective action.
Required Skills
BS or higher in technical field plus five years minimum experience in the above described activities. Required skill-sets also include communication, teamwork, project management, and leadership.
Must be strong with reliability testing & failure analysis on infrastructure products in mobile communications.
