Required Skills

Position Summary: The Buyer/Planner I will perform daily job responsibilities with a fair amount of direction from the manager and fellow Buyer/Planners. This person will spend about 90% of the day focusing on tactical issues and 10% on strategic issues. The Buyer/Planner I will participate in purchasing/planning events.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to work at a computer terminal for long periods of time. Must be able to freely move around the facility. Must occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.

Skills Needed: 1-3 years experience in purchasing or planning. Experience with MRP Systems. Must be PC literate, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ERP, etc. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is a must. Must have strong communications skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Manufacturing, Senior Management, outside vendors, etc.). Ability to easily adapt to rapid changes and a fast paced, high-energy environment.

Salary and Benefits

$18.00 - $20.00 Hourly DOE
