Job Listing: Info Management MS BI Portal Consultant

One of TEKsystems largest national government clients has an immediate need for a MS Business Intelligence Portal Developer.

We are unable to work with Third Party vendors or on a CORP to CORP basis for this opportunity.

Performance Profile:
The Information Management Portal Consultant will work as part of an integrated contract, military, and civilian team engaged in enterprise information management and knowledge management functions at a major technical military installation.
The BI consultant must be experienced in with Performance Point (ProClarity) Server development, and dashboards in SharePoint, SSAS cube development, and multidimensional modeling. The candidate should have experience with SQL 2005, SSRS reporting services and development, and SSIS integration services.
MS tools set will be used to improve work efficiencies and collaboration with internal and external entities within DoD and the Navy.
The Performance Point consultant must quickly develop a broad understanding of the programs and initiatives of the client in the area of data strategy and business intelligence. S/he should be able to set priorities in work assignments and work well in a diverse and dynamic environment. The portal consultant will:

-Develop a web-enabled environment to organize, display and share information documents and knowledge.
-Manage portal sites that provide enterprise-level web solutions to internal and external organizations
-Research, coordinate, and recommend options for report and score card presentation on the client portal site.
-Briefing senior leadership, as required
-Reporting on status and completion of assigned actions
-Performing other related duties as assigned.

Position-specific Required Skills:

- Demonstrated experience with designing multi-dimensional models, data mart/warehouses and SQL Analysis cubes.
- Understanding of MOSS 2007 architecture and content management concepts.
- 1+ PerformancePoint 2007 configuration and administration.
- 1+ years experience with third party Workflow, Content Management, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
Citizenship and security clearance required.

Position-specific Desired Skills:- Experience in web design and enterprise portal management
- Experience working in a .net environment
- Experience maintaining web content

- Experience and knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, CSS, and ASP
- Experience w/Active Directory
- Experience in WCM implementation
- Experience w/Visual Studio
- Experience and knowledge of data architecture and data management concepts and methods
- Working experience in a DOD government agency
