Job Listing: Java Instructor / Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY
Are you an experienced web developer who enjoys helping others learn? Are you a corporate trainer that is looking for more flexibility and excitement? Education Services, a division of TEKsystems, is a rapidly growing global IT training organization and is seeking an experienced and dynamic technical instructor to deliver Java related courses for our Fortune 1000 clientele. The qualified applicant will spend most of their time teaching instructor-led, technical training curriculums at client sites. This exciting position offers the opportunity to travel to client sites throughout the U.S and abroad.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports directly to the Education Services Delivery Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
A) Over five (5) years experience instructor-led training; corporate training delivery experience preferred over academic
B) Over ten (10) years development experience with Java and related tools
C) Strong technical skills in Java/J2EE, including Java 5
D) Some knowledge of Java related technologies such as WSAD, AJAX, Hibernate, Spring, etc
E) Experience teaching and/or developing with one or more of the following technologies: Java, JSPs, Servlets, EJBs, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Swing, Ajax, and JSFs, XML
F) Experience developing and maintaining course materials a plus

3. EDUCATION, SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
A) Must have completed a four-year degree program
B) General business or computer science degree preferred
C) SUN and/or IBM certifications are a plus
