Job Listing: Embedded Software Engineer

An industry leader in the analytical instrument industry has an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Engineer.

As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will be researching, designing, developing, and maintaining micro-processor/micro-controller firmware for thermal analysis instrumentation.

You will be responsible for providing firmware support for new prototypes while providing technical guidance to other programmers and engineers.

Major job duties include:
-Leading or participating in the design of embedded code for current or developing systems
-Developing test cases and procedures
-Participation in testing and analysis at the system/sub-system level
-Interfacing with other departments in the company
-Limited travel (to customer sites)

Job requirements and qualifications:
-BSME or equivalent
-Analytical instrumentation background
-Experience with low-level embedded processing and hardware interface
-Strong C and C++ programming experience
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Algorithm development
-Familiarity with TCP/IP and network protocol disassembly
-5 or more years of relevant professional experience
