Job Listing: Sr. .NET Web Programmer/Analyst

Position Objective:
As a Sr. .NET Web Programmer/Analyst, this person will work as a member of the development staff supporting and enhancing their corporate website. This person will work as part of a development team that includes business unit representatives and software engineers to create and implement functional and technical requirements. This person must be able to solve routine programming problems, determines appropriate solutions and spend at least 80% of their time writing or maintaining application program logic.

Required Skills:
Must have a working knowledge of three or more of the following or equivalent technologies: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, ASP.Net, C#, XML, and Object Oriented Programming. Troubleshoot issues with existing systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Possess debugging skills to resolve technical issues that arise from software design and implementation or commercial product bugs and instabilities. Consults with team members and users to gather requirements, identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Requires at least three years of software development experience with web-based and object-oriented programming language. Requires a bachelor's degree, technical certification or equivalent experience.


Preferred Skills:
Experience with Scrum of other agile development methodologies. Familiar with relational database concepts. Technical writing and presentation skills. Some experience with any of the following would be preferred: Adobe Flash development (ActionScript), Scene7, Endeca and ADXStudio.

Essential Duties: Perform software development and support tasks as necessary. Actively provide input to team and participate in the decision making process. Solve business problems by application of appropriate technologies. Consistently extend knowledge and proficiency in tools used by the team. Investigate, trial, and implement emerging technologies that contribute to solving business problems.

Skills Summary:
· Minimum 4 years:
C#, TSQL, Visual Studio .Net, SQL Server 2000, XML, , ASP.Net, Web Services, JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming.
· Minimum 2 year:
Net 2.0, Agile Development, CSS, Adobe Flash development (ActionScript)
VB.Net, AJAX, UML, Subversion, NUnit

Other Skills A Plus:
· SQL Server 2005,
· MCTS Certification in .Net Framework 2.0 Web Applications or .Net Framework 2.0 Distributed Applications
