Job Listing: Tax Supervisor

This position is responsible for the Supervision of:

The preparation of State, Federal and Local tax returns for both corporate and partnership taxes.
The preparation of FAS 109 provisions, related financial statement footnote disclosures and effective tax rate reconciliations.
The preparation of annual tax return true-up of tax provisions and tax account reconciliations.
The preparation of IRS & IDR responses.


Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- In depth knowledge of GAAP and FAS 109.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations and other relevant authority sufficient to interpret and apply to transactions.
- Must pass the First Line Supervisor Assessment test.

Preferred Experience

- CPA / MBA
- Experience supervising tax accounting, tax compliance, audits, planning, and research functions
- FAS 109 & tax account reconciliation
- SAP
- Experience with external auditors
- Experience with CorpTax and/or PowerTax

    Rate: $73,000 to $109,000 per Year
