Job Listing: Computer Operator

TEKsystems wants YOU to join our team on a LONG-TERM contract basis. One of our MOST prestigious clients is looking for a computer operator to observe and control the company's computer systems and peripheral equipment. This will include monitoring system consoles for error lights and error messages, failures, and network malfunctions. The Computer Operator is also responsible for diagnosing problems based on his or her findings, and will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve malfunctions in effort of system or network recovery, by escalating it to appropriate personnel. Qualified candidates should be flexible in their schedule as shift time may vary.
