Job Listing: Siebel Developer

TEKsystems is in need of a Siebel Developer for a contract to hire opportunity on the North side of Indianapolis.

Required skills:

Ability to work within a team-based environment to accomplish team-based goals. Strong Siebel 7 development background (3+ years) including experience in Siebel eScript, SmartScript development, and integration with back-end data systems. Relational database background (Oracle preferred). Ability to design and build Siebel components and integration based on Use Case requirements. Proven ability to document work and work in process driven development environment. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Siebel Workflow, Siebel Assignment Manager, Siebel Correspondence, XML/XSLT, Siebel upgrade project experience, Siebel 8.x experience

Specific Duties:

1. Develops and unit tests new functionality within Siebel including user interfaces, integration to external systems, XML/XSL, database design, eScript, CTI, web services, SmartScripts, workflows, etc.

2. Troubleshoots and repairs existing defects.

3. Creates and presents design documents for all enhancements.

4. Provides technical support for existing Siebel applications.

5. Creates and presents conceptual design for use case reviews.

6. Conducts peer code reviews.

7. Enter time in time tracking application on a daily basis.

8. Attend development team / all NGD meetings as necessary.
