Job Listing: Solar Field Technician

Our client is seeking a solar field technician to work on a project estimated to last at least 3 1/2 months. The project will include visiting approximately 30 installed solar systems around New England and performing a quality checks and inspections.

In this role, the field technician will need to successfully examine and inspect solar systems and perform module removals and replacements using checklists and work procedures.

Technician’s essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

-Set up and clean up of job site
-Use of safety equipment including fall protection
-Remove and replace of solar modules
-Complete quality check and inspection
-Cleaning of solar modules

This is a field based role with associated physical requirements such as moving ladders and carrying solar equipment and modules. This position will require travel throughout New England sometimes on short notice. Some Saturdays may be required.

Prior to performing field work, candidate must attend a three day intensive training program in California.
