Job Listing: Civil CAD Technician

Development Services Technician Job Description:
* Obtain preliminary zoning information from governing agencies for use in preparing preliminary site plans.
* AutoCad preparation of preliminary site plans including plotting, and package preparation assistance for development partners & staff.
* Assist real estate managers working with proposed tenants to satisfy plan layout concerns, and other tenant related issues.
* Assist the Senior AutoCad technician during peak drawing preparation periods.
* Assist Development Service Managers with the preparation of project feasibility packages
* Assist Legal staff in development and preparation of exhibits related to contracts and other legal related issues.
* Attend coordination meetings with consultants and governing agencies as needed.
* Assist in coordinating plan approvals and permits with tenants, and governing agencies as needed
* Assist legal staff in preparing necessary documentation to aid the sell of existing properties

This position calls for versatility and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. The person that fills this position will need to exhibit that they have the characteristics to meet the challenges of the position.

Day to day this person will be using AutoCad 2008 to draw the initial layout for "build to suite" projects and lifestyle centers. The projects will consist of the preliminary conceptual design and layout for 2-6 acre plots. Typically they work on lifestyle centers, strip malls, small box developments, and restaurants. This will require the CAD Technician to perform lot fits, setbacks, zoning, and internet research.

This person should have a strong initiative.
*DS/BG is required.
