Job Listing: Histotechnologist

One of Aerotek Medical's Largest Hospitals is currently looking for a certified Histotechnologist to join one of their groups. This hospital is one of the country’s premier academic medical centers and a major referral center for the Midwest and beyond. This facility is one of the country's leading teaching hospitals, which provides fundraising and grant making support for the hospital's mission and strategic goals. The hospital affiliates/subsidiaries provide a range of healthcare services including acute and tertiary inpatient care, ambulatory care, wellness and prevention programs.

This histotechnician will be performing histo on cancer specimens,
there will be a lot of cutting involved and the ideal candidate will have to be good at cutting and hopefully will have some experience using an autostainer. This lab is a very high volume facility, there will be a lot of samples compared to what is typically seen in other settings, this position will be required to log samples and results into the 3 databases that this facility uses.
The ideal candidate will have good cutting experience, 2-15 years in histo, certification in Histotechnology and most importantly a GREAT ATTITUDE!!!!
