Our client, the worlds largest pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Clinical Pharmacology Associate to join their team for a 1 year contract.
On a daily basis, the Clinical Pharmacology Associate will have the following responsibilities:
- Ability to integrate drug metabolism, PHARMACOKINETIC, BIOMARKER, TOXICOLOGY and CLINICAL DATA to assist in the clinical development of oncology compounds.
- Work on multiple compounds, proficiently integrating PK, biomarker, and clinical data to evaluate/simulate pharmacokinetics, pharmacokinetic-biomarker relationships, exposure-response relationships, and exposure-safety relationships to support the clinical development strategy.
- Must be able to design and write clinical protocols, PK analysis plans, clinical study reports, and other clinical documents.
- Collaborate with clinicians, statisticians and operational leads on study design options to optimize early drug development.
- Provide clinical pharmacology components of regulatory documents (IND, IB, briefing documents, etc.).
- Participate in cross-functional clinical development teams.
To be QUALIFIED for the Clinical Pharmacology Associate, individuals MUST have the following qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, or related discipline.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the principles of clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics from a and data analysis and clinical drug development perspective.
- Experience in the clinical development of oncology compounds is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent computer skills (Word Office software) are essential.
- Experience using standard PK software (e.g. Adapt II, WinNonlin, NONMEM) is highly desirable.
- The ability to work independently as well as in the team setting is essential.
