Job Listing: Systems Administrator

TEKsystems has partnered with a large government integrator and has multiple Systems Administrator positions available immediately. These positions require an Active DOD TOP SECRET clearance.

The System Administrator assists with installs, maintenance, and upgrades of OS's and applications for the Microsoft Advanced server environment. Performs general server support functions, such as Level 2/3 problem resolution, server backups, and monitors site traffic.

Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures regarding core infrastructure, including backup and restore procedures, maintaining tape library, load and performance monitoring, access permissions, hardware provisioning, hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance, Internet connectivity, security services, and e-mail services. Maintains file systems. Proactively monitors all software and systems and reports results. Understands, adheres to, and implements overall security policies.

Work with outside vendors and support desks for third-party applications. Assist with software releases and weekly/monthly system maintenance.

TS clearance, eligible for special accesses
