Job Listing: Software Engineer - C/C++

An Established Electronics Company in Raleigh, NC has Immediate Openings for Software Engineers (C/C++, Windows Mobile, Linux).

These openings may be either contract, contract to hire or direct placement opportunities.

Aerotek is working on behalf of an established electronics company in Raleigh, NC to locate C/C++ Embedded Software Engineers. The openings are for Windows Mobile/WinCE and Linux Software Engineers for device driver and software development and optimization for mobile computing platforms. These Software Engineers will have experience working in Linux or Windows Mobile/Win CE environments. They will be doing software bring up, looking at system power and performance optimization and board support package development, integration and test.

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (prefer Masters)
2+ years experience with embedded C/C++ programming in a Windows Mobile/WinCE or Linux environment
Candidates should have experience working in a RTOS (real time operating system) environment
Device driver development experience preferred
Understanding of various application frameworks. Experience porting applications (preferably multimedia applications) to an embedded platform preferred.
