Job Listing: Videographer/Producer/Editor

A telecommunications company is looking for an organized, creative, and easy to work with video editor & producer to join their marketing team.

Daily Functions:
Candidates will be managing video elements for our creative services team including sit-down interviews, filming b-roll, podcasts, & customer video testimonials.
Candidates must know how to plan and execute package/segment production and be familiar with digital editing systems such as Adobe Premiere and/or Avid and be comfortable generating basic graphics (e.g. supers, banners, etc.) as needed. Knowledge of AfterEffects or similar program is a plus.
The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate with both internal and external customers, by brainstorming on projects and by offering guidance in the storytelling process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Help produce, coordinate and project manage video projects from conception to completion. Book crews, talent and shoots.

2.Coordinate shooting and editing in high definition (HDCAM, HDV and XDCAM) on a AVID system, set up and maintenance of video production equipment and studio, tape archiving and logging, graphics creation and more.

Prerequisites:

Producer, Video & Interactive:
Knowledge of audio and video standards (input and output), pro and pro-sumer cameras and decks (BETA SP, DV, DVCPro, HD); DP experience a plus

Video compression standards and best practices for DVD, web delivery, CD, etc.
Interactive project management or producing – scripting and writing for the interactive & online world (words + motion)
Understanding and knowledge of the requirements of Flash video, Sorenson Squeeze, CS2/CS3 (InDesign/Photoshop/Dreamweaver), some HTML
Excellent communication skills
MS software– Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project or other PM programs

NLE Editor:
NLE Editing experience including familiarity with AVID Adrenaline, Premiere, or Final Cut.
Camera experience, deck experience, & familiarity with compression software
Audio editing experience
