Mechanical Engineer III

Duties:

* Managing projects and tasks
* Identifying and managing risk
* Actively participating in multifunctional project teams

Engineering and design responsibilities:

* In charge of all design concepts
* System layouts
* Detailed engineering drawings and specifications
* Hands on fabrication of component and system prototypes.

Applicants should be able to:

* Evaluate and implement cost effective mechanical and electrical designs
* Able to travel 50% of the time.

Requirements:

*Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
*Equipment Design Experience
*Background in managing a team of engineers and driving projects
*Experience with budgets and schedules.

Qualified candidates will have significant experience in generating 3D models, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, work instructions, and BOM's for products using a wide range of engineering materials, including plastics and sheet metal.

All candidates must pass background checks as a condition of employment. Additionally, US Citizenship and ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance required.
