Job Listing: Windows/Citrix/IIS Administrator

TEKsystems is proactively seeking a Windows Systems Administrator for a 6 month contract to hire for a client in South Brunswick, NJ.

Candidate will work on various projects, maintenance tasks and FIS systems and applications.

This is more of an Application and Web Support Systems Administrator role, supporting servers that deliver news content to their external customers. Candidate will provide Application/Web Support, conduct Performance Tuning, and run Citrix Metaframe for a development staff based in India. Performance Tuning meaning help optimize the speed of applications running and the network, NOT anything database related.

Technical Environment:
All MS environment with web related technologies such as IIS and Citrix

Technical Skills:
5+ years Windows SA experience in a real time environment
Experience with SharePoint, IIS, Patchlink, DNS
Experience in configuring and supporting Citrix Metaframe and VMWare
Knowledge with Veritas Storage Foundation
SQL Server knowledge a plus
Excellent communication skills required
Excellent documentation skills required
Ability to work weekends
