Description:
Provide Oracle Clinical and TMS application support services for Data Management. Provide Oracle Clinical 4.5 - Technical support, TMS 4.5 - standard / custom (client specific) dictionary uploads, ad hoc study or project specific support such as listings, SQL reports, etc.
Coordinate integration services, software updates, bug fixes, change requests and application support for assigned systems. Develop and maintain appropriate change control and document management techniques. Interface with other IT groups to ensure that database, hardware, network, security, quality, integration, support and project services associated with clinical systems are adequate and sufficiently managed. Provide level 3rd level user support for our Data Management and assist IT members.
Interact with internal clients to understand the business needs and priorities, help develop user functional requests and requirements and support the development and execution of test plans. Assist and advise in the development and continuous improvement of IT and IT Global standards and methodologies in relationship to system support in the environment. Keep abreast of industry standards, technological trends and best practices for application support and IT resource management
Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant technical (Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering) or science area or equivalent experience
Experience:
3 to 6 years of Information Technology experience
Experience should include one or more years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry with support or implementation experience on Oracle Clinical and TMS.
Compliance experience with GAMP4, 21 CRF Part 11 and FDA regulatory issues, or EMEA and ICH6 requirements
Good knowledge of coding dictionaries and dictionary structures
Required Skills:
Practice and knowledge of project management in IT systems implementation
Development experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle preferred)
Scripting in HP-UX, and MS Windows operating systems and coding in SQL and PL/SQL
Understanding of systems lifecycle methodology
