POSITION: Electrical Engineer

LOCATION: Fairfield, CA

COMPENSATION: $60,000-$70,000, will D.O.E


A premier global supplier of military aircraft products has a permanent Electrical Engineer opportunity in their Fairfield, CA facility. With over 90 facilities, our client is a Fortune 500 company that serves the aerospace, defense and homeland security industries. Our client's innovative products can be found on almost every aircraft in the world.

The Electrical Engineer will have the following essential responsibilities:
-Developing process control, data acquisition, and test control systems used in a production environment
-Programming computer controlled equipment in Visual Basic and Labview formats
-Troubleshoot Electrical and Electronic problems
-Design control systems, lay out control panels, order components, and construct the systems and provide complete documentation
-Compose test procedures and manuals

Qualified candidate for the Electrical Engineer position should possess the following skills:
-Strong understanding of communication protocols for serial and Ethernet interface between systems
-Programming experience in Visual Basic, Labview, and other programming languages
-Understanding of programming PLC controlled equipment
-Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel effectively
-Be able to communicate and work well in teams

Candidate for the Electrical Engineer position should have a B.S. degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in Electrical control systems.
