Job Listing: Electrical Engineer (Power Supply)

Seeking a Senior Power Supply Engineer for a contract opportunity through January 2009 with the potential to be extended based on workload. This is a Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm opportunity.

** Contract position through Jan 2009 **

** MUST have a BSEE or MSEE **


DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze requirements for space flight low and high voltage power supplies, design power supplies, assist in designing packaging for power supplies, and in acquiring parts. Functionally and environmentally test flight power supplies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Must have a BSEE or MSEE
- In depth knowledge of low or high voltage power supply design and testing.
- Requires understanding of desiging for operation in space including ionizing radiation, high levels of vibration and wide operating temperatures.
- Must be able to make technical presentations and stand over circuit boards being tested.
