Job Listing: GIS Developer

TEKsystems is looking for a senior level GIS Developer for a one year project in the Orlando, Florida area.

This person should be capable of creating interactive GIS applications (especially web ) from an enterprise level versus top down. The important skills are experience with ArcGIS Server and ArcObjects, .Net, SQL as well as a positive attitude and strong communication.

The projects the potential candidate can expect to work on are:

· Redeveloping/migrating the current ArcIMS sites to ArcGIS Server. The key goal with this particular project is creating a user friendly interface that will allow customers to locate information about their properties.

· Developing user friendly interactive applications that are intuitive to the end user.

· Creating scripts that will increase the performance of GIS staff and other users.

We are looking for a candidate with at least five years of GIS Development experience.
