Job Listing: Product Engineer

A tier one supplier is seeking a Product Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST have BSME or similar degree; Must have 3+ years of Project/Product Engineering experience; Experience with Catia V5 is a plus; Past experience and knowledge of exhausts systems/muffler systems/welded components is ideal, but if someone has experience with products such as Chassis, Suspension, Driveline, etc...they would consider; Ability to successfully interface with the customers, suppliers, manufacturing, sales, and quality is a must; Strong engineering skills including problem solving, robust design, and design for manufacturing; Familiarity with APQP, change management, DFMEA, and project management is a must; Launch experience is a must;

JOB DUTIES: Overall product design and development responsibility for a full exhaust system for their Commercial Business unit; Project management through design release stage; Project support through launch phase; Customer and supplier technical interface; Champion cost savings initiatives;
