Job Listing: Internal Auditor

Our client, a premier water services company, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team.

The Candidate will...

Work with 3 other team members to evaluate and conduct audits for other business units.

Evaluate internal controls and assess risk within the area under audit, document risks, determine appropriate testing and prepare a detailed
audit program to test these risks and then execute a program and make recommendations for improvements.

Participate with special assignments, including Sarbanes-Oxley testing.


Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required.

Must have a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Four to seven years of experience in either Internal Auditing or Public Auditing.

Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office Suite. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and auditing procedures along with knowledge of business in a corporate environment is a must. Effective interpersonal skills, along with proficient writing skills and proficient computer skills. Also, Utility operational and Sarbanes-Oxley experience would be helpful.
