Job Listing: Mechanical Drafter/Designer

Aerotek is currently working with a multi-disciplined Engineering firm located in Towson, MD. They have a mix of Architectural Engineering and Planning Services including: architecture, mechanical, electrical, structural and wireless communication. The projects include retail, restaurant, super-market, theatre, office, medical, assisted living, industrial, multi-family residential, municipal, and parking structures. The MEP group provides heating, air condition, plumbing, and electrical systems that are practical, energy efficient, and tailored to the ultimate needs of the end user.

Description:

- Mechanical Drafter/Designer to work in their MEP Division
- Will be working directly with AutoCAD and the senior Engineers
- Will be learning load codes and calculations

Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience drafting/designing
-Experience working with commercial buildings and consulting firms
-Bachelors Degree is not needed
-Must have taken technical classes in AutoCAD
-Must be proficient in AutoCAD
-Motivation to learn and get into the design aspect
