Job Listing: Mechanical Inspector

Individual will perform dimensional measurement & inspection of precision machined parts/components

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to read & understand mechanical blue prints/engineering drawings
Must be able to consistently produce accurate and clear documentation
Understanding of Geometric & Dimensional Tolerancing
Create 1st Piece Inspection Files/Data Sheets (Word Process & Spreadsheets)
Strong working knowledge/skills using the following precision measurement tools/gauges
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Optical Comparators
- Air Gauges
- CMM Coordinate Measurement Machine (esp. CNC Controlled)

The following skills and abilities are a plus:
- CMM Programming ability
- OGP Smart scope
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Medical Device Manufacturing Experience
- Internal Audit Experience
- Conduct Gage R&R studies.
- Perform short and long term capability studies
- Assist operating personnel in collecting data, constructing control charts, and interpreting control chart information
