Job Listing: Quality Assurance Technician

Our client located in Tampa, FL is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their company on a 3-month contract to hire basis. This candidate needs to be able to hit the ground running upon hire.

***Qualifications***

- Should have knowledge in Surface Plate Exposure and Sine Plate Exposure

- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)

- Understands Trig

- Must be familiar with Quality Assurance and Inspection Equipment such as: optical comparator, trimos height stands, micrometers, calipers

- Should be able to understand and evaluate prints, schematics, and drawings relating to the machining industry

- Must be able to "wear multiple hats"

- Aerospace background to tight tolerances would be an ideal background

***Responsibilities***

- Inspection of surface and sine plate exposures

- Ensure quality in manufactured fixtures and other components relating to machining processes

- Troubleshoot plating components, tool cuts

- Deciphers product or system malfunctions, incomplete data and data interpretation

- Accurately documents numerical and graphical data, being able to understand and evaluate blue prints, schematics, and drawings of equipment and components

- Comply with all work rules, including but not limited to, the Company's safety and attendance policies
