Job Listing: CNC Milling Programmer

A company in the Amesbury/Salisbury area is looking for a CNC Milling Programmer.

-Responsible for the creation of programs and documentation needed to support the medical device manufacturing company.
-Responsibilities include supporting the quote process to ensure accurate machining times, proper materials and efficient processes are specified in the quote process.
-Create documentation needed to release product to the manufacturing floor. Ensure that proper material, routings and processes are specified. Specify proper material for purchasing. Assure that Quality and Manufacturing have the proper documentation for first piece, in-process and final inspection. Compare quoted manufacturing times to actual manufacturing times, and work with production to optimize processes and continually improve process.
-Work with other departments for continuous improvement; support the manufacturing floor with hands-on approach to ensure on-time delivery through special fixtures and manufacturing methods.
-Qualifications: Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CNC programming software, knowledge of Solidworks, proficient in precision machining processes, at least five years experience in precision machining environment
