Job Listing: Regional Manager

Our client is the oldest independent electrical testing company in the United States. Our client provides independent certified, third-party testing, engineering and field services. They have an immediate opening for a full-time Regional Manager in the MD/DC area.

FUNCTION

This is a hands on management position that is responsible for the day-to-day operations of this regional office. This position is also responsible for the financial performance of the region vs. budget targets. Principle duties include but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruiting and supervising electrical test technicians, project managers and administrative staff, consistent with expected work loads.
- Efficient and effective work scheduling
- Understanding of NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Specifications, NFPA70B and Industry Codes & Standards.
- Project Management
- Augment project managers by managing key projects.
- Provide technical support and expertise to staff as well as external customers.
- Sales support, including pricing and margin analysis.
- Safety management, consistent with the corporate safety plan.
- Departmental P&L management.
- Assistance with developing departmental budgets.
- Other duties as required, to ensure that regional office reaches financial, sales, safety and operational goals.

REQUIREMENTS
- Degreed Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of leadership & management experience.
- Five or more years of experience with electrical power systems.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of computer software, including spread sheet, word processing and accounting software.
