Select and evaluate components and system design; prepare heat load calculations; lead mechanical designers and less experienced engineers in the execution of detailed design; work cross functionally with marketing, manufacturing, sourcing and suppliers to speed the design process and insure design that meets tight cost targets; integrate global standards and regulations into design.
