Job Listing: Call Center - Inbound Sales Representative - F/T - Concord, CA

The Concord Call Center is looking to hire 20 additional Part-Time Sales Reps for a September New Hire Class! Applicants selected for this position will be contacted via email. Please check your email on a regular basis.

The Sales department is open from 7am-10pm, 7 days a week. The shifts for these part time (25 hours/week) positions may include evenings, double weekends and holidays. You must be completely flexible with your schedule- NO EXCEPTIONS!

Additionally you will be required to attend comprehensive job training Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm for the first 5-6 weeks of employment.

The strongest candidates will possess at least one year of customer service and sales experience within a retail or call center environment. There are sales and performance quotas to be met. The base salary is $15.00/hour plus commissions and company benefits are available.

DESCRIPTION
Serve as the primary interface for customers calling with sales related questions; position products and features to customers.

Utilizes active listening skills and product knowledge to address customer concerns to maintain existing level of service or to recommend a more appropriate mix of products

Explains the overall benefit of the upgrade to the customer when receiving rebuild-related calls

Responds appropriately when retention calls are received

Ensures that the customer has a complete understanding of applicable Comcast Communications policies and procedures

Efficiently and accurately inputs work orders on-line to prevent any problems relating to the customer

Participates in training for the purpose of developing effective customer service skills

Views sales as a way of helping customers receive the best value for their money

Articulates the advantages of our company over the competition

Uses open and closed-ended questions to deliberately uncover needs for products and services

Actively listens to customers and aligns appropriate products/services to their needs and interests

Reinforces customer’s buying decision at the conclusion of the sales process by reviewing customer needs met by products/services purchased

Accurately assesses the customer’s readiness to buy by correctly reading buying signals

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

o High school diploma or GED is required
o Excellent Verbal and interpersonal communication skills necessary for success in communicating with a highly diversified customer base
o Two year of Call center sales and/or retail sales experience required
o Solid written communication skills
o Prior experience with and ability to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality
o Ability to type fluently
o Prior experience in an environment dealing with a diverse customer base (directly or indirectly) is required
o Standard PC functionality (including use of MS office programs) knowledge is required
o Demonstrated ability and comfort with maneuvering through databases
o This department is open between the hours of 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week. Therefore, you may be required to work weekends, holidays, or off-hour shifts
o Ability to work overtime, as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

o Frequent to continuous sitting
o Occasional standing and/or walking
o Frequent to continuous use of hand movement when working at a computer
o Rare lifting
o Frequent to continuous use of standard office equipment including computer, mouse, telephone, etc.
