Job Listing: Financial Analyst - Subscribers

• Conducts data extraction, audits, and analysis of billing system data.
• Validate monthly subscriber reporting against billing reports using database tools.
• Assist with accurately reporting daily and weekly subscriber statistics for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and related reports.
• Provides trending and analysis of product / customer / premise information for departments including Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technical Operations.
• Works directly with department analysts and managers to plan, design, test, and implement automated reporting solutions.
• Translates customer reporting requirements into SQL logic, pulling data from various databases, data warehouses (VANTAGE, InfoDST, etc.) and flat-file based repositories.
• Identifies and recommends scalable and fully automatable solutions to various business reporting needs.
• Coordinates reporting-related activities and initiatives between Comcast departments and markets.
• Runs and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.
• Performs other functions as assigned.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Business / MIS preferred.
- 1 plus years experience in the cable industry preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have 1 plus years of development experience in a mix of the following technologies:
- .NET Framework (asp.net, ado.net, vb.net, C#).
- HTML / JavaScript.
- Extensive SQL knowledge including T-SQL programming.
- MS Office advanced user skill level.
- SQL Server configuration, maintenance, and tuning experience.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of various and diverse teams.
- Ability to document business needs and effectively interface with development organizations.
- Must be creative with strong attention to detail accuracy.
