Job Listing: Check-In Rep 1
Position Summary: Under general supervision, perform complex clerical & administrative duties applicable to and in support of the functioning unit to which assigned. Work requires judgement in the selection and interpretation of work orders and data as it is entered into the billing system.
Major Duties: (May perform any or all of the following duties)
Review work orders and data for accuracy and input into billing system as needed.
Perform functional support duties as assigned by Manager to support department goals.
Maintain records, logs and files according to established procedures.
Verify and audit contractor billing statements.
Perform fundamental mathematical computations and tabulate data using office machines as required; compile information and complete necessary forms, reports, form letters, computer input forms, ledger entries, etc.
Reconcile COD dollars on work orders to money posted in billing system.
Operate all office equipment, answer phones, transmit information, handle inquires, etc.
Perform miscellaneous duties particular to functional area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear manner using appropriate grammar and spelling.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
Thorough knowledge of personal computer operations and software applications.
Knowledge of general office procedures.Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of CableData/Comtrac or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
May be required to sit for long periods of time, bending, stooping and kneeling.
Exposure to moderate noise levels.
Utilize and manipulate objects such as pencil, keyboard and papers.
Occasionally lift and carry loads of 25 lbs. or more.
Vision ability: Close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
