Job Listing: Embedded Software Engineer

A Leading Defense and Aerospace Company in the Twin Cities is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a cutting-edge Avionics project currently being supported. This Aerospace Company is an industry stalwart and has delivered complex and dependable solutions to government and commercial customers alike.

The Embedded Software Engineer will design, code, and develop embedded code per DO-178B standards to achieve product development schedules. This Engineer will be supporting the entire Software Development Life Cycle and will need to work with limited written and verbal direction, as well as be able to work well in a fast paced team environment, direct others, and be self-motivated to complete the activity.

The Embedded Software Engineer will perform the following tasks when incumbent of this position and will need to have experience in the following:

1) Embedded Programming for real-time systems (C Language)
2) Programming for DSPs (Texas Instrument 6700 series)
3) Development for Safety Critical Software Development Process
4) DO-178B airborne system support

This Embedded Software Engineer opening is a Contract Position and will run a duration of 6 months at a minimum.
