Job Listing: Lead Firmware Verification Engineer

A Leading Provider of broadband communications and storage semiconductors is looking for an experienced Lead Firmware Verification Engineer to join their Product Development team developing cutting-edge solutions to a global customer base. The Lead Firmware Verification Engineer is responsible for the development and verification of new and exciting real-time firmware for state-of-the-art System-on-Chip (SoC) devices with embedded MIPS processors.

This Lead Firmware Verification Engineer will lead small teams in the execution of verification of new firmware & root causing issues, regular build processes, tools development for the support of firmware products and code updates. This Engineer will also work with customers on the above mentioned items and provide critical analysis and oversight of release quality.

This Lead Firmware Verification Engineer will need to have the following background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum 8 years engineering experience of system level verification
- 4+ years of software/firmware system exposure
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to complete product level work (through commercial release)
- Demonstrated ability to improve and adapt processes and tracking systems for rapidly evolving technical capabilities
- Knowledgeable in use of tool chains and debug tools
- Knowledge of SAS/SATA tools and operations
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux storage driver models

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $90,000 to $130,000 per Year
