Job Listing: Pharmacist Supervisor, Mail Order

I have an immediate position available for a Pharmacist Supervisor in the Pocono Manor, PA Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The incumbent will supervise 20+ pharmacists’ functions including Quality Assurance (Rx Review), DUR, and Product verification (QC Checking) to ensure that each patient's prescription is accurate and complete.

- He/She serves as a department resource answering questions and assisting in resolving issues.

- Develops, trains, prioritizes/sets direction.

- Monitors and addresses workflow and human resources issues as appropriate to ensure efficient flow of work and achievement of individual and team objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, grammar and listening) and experience using MS Office and other Windows-based applications.

- Interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills are also required, as well as strong human relations skills to support the supervisor and development of employees as appropriate.

- General knowledge of mail order pharmacy operations is desired.

- Pennsylvania pharmacy license is also desired.

- B.S degree, preferably in Pharmacy. Additional education and/or training is preferred.

- Prior retail or mail order pharmacy operations desired; demonstrated supervisory experience is preferred.

- Prior PBM experience is a plus.

- The position will supervise Pharmacists on the daytime and evening shifts, but will typically work daytime hours.
