Job Listing: Mechanical Designer/ Drafter

Aerotek is currently working with a client in the Baltimore metro area that is seeking a Mechanical Designer or Drafter with over 3 years of experience. The client is located in Northern Baltimore and has architectural and engineering divisions. They work with restaurant, medical, office, residential and other industrial and commercial buildings.

The Mechanical Designer/ Drafter will be working with the MEP Division with Senior Engineers. The candidate will be working directly with AutoCAD and will be learning in-depth codes and calculations.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of design/drafting experience
- Experience with commercial buildings
- Experience with consulting firms
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD
- Technical Course work in AutoCAD completed
- Bachelors Degree is not necessary
- Motivation to learn and get into the design aspect of buildings
- Knowledge of load codes and calculations
