Job Listing: Mainframe Programmer - COBOL, IMS

TEKsystems is seeking an experience Mainframe programmer with past IMS experience for an immediate opening. This project will be with a Maryland state agency. The application to be worked on is Batch and Online COBOL with heavy CICS and JCL. DB2 is the database our client is using, so a passing knowledge of DB2 is required.

Any exposure to IMS will help as many of the legacy systems there are still on IMS.

Requirements include:
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Mainframe - COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
IMS experience (the more recent, the better) is required
Some MQ Series experience would be a plus

This a contract position with an immediate start date.
