Job Listing: Applications Laboratory Chemist

Aerotek Scientific is seeking an Applications Laboratory Chemist to work with our client near Rock Hill SC. This is a direct placement opportunity for the right Chemist with experience water based coatings.

The responsibilities of the Chemist will be as follows:

- Produce paint and coatings
- Provide feedback to polymer development chemists
- Perform tests on paint, industrial finishes, construction products, and coatings
- Provide guidance to development chemists
- Interpret and document all test data
- Participate in lab meetings, customer visits, supplier meetings, seminars, trade shows, and training sessions
- Be able to direct one or more lab technicians

The qualified Applications Laboratory Chemist will posses:

- BS degree in Chemistry
- 5 years applicable experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
