I. Contract Construction QA/QC Engineer

One of our clients is seeking a Construction QC/QA Engineer to support the construction of their new state of the art manufacturing facility in Macon, GA. This position requires a broad understanding of civil, electrical, structural, piping and mechanical along with comprehensive knowledge of building codes and construction material testing requirements. The QA/QC Engineer will oversee sub contractors from a quality assurance and testing standpoint. This position will report directly to the Project Manager and is expected to last 15 to 18 months. Individual must possess a strong Quality BG as they must act as the liaison between the company and the various subcontractors on site.

Key qualifications include:
- 5 years of commercial/industrial building construction experience preferably working with $200M projects
- 3 years of construction project management experience as a quality assurance professional
- Two years of experience in concrete and welding
- Must have good communication skills
