Job Listing: Associate Engineer

Aerotek Energy Services is currently recruiting an Associate Engineer/Designer for a company in Duncan, SC that designs and manufactures fuel firing equipment and steam generators for fossil fired and waste fuel plants.


Position:
- Through the utilization of Pro-E and/or AutoCAD, the engineer/designer will develop proposals, customer contracts, and shop fabrication models/drawings and revisions of same in support of Parts Engineering and the Company’s product improvement and design automation objectives.
- Primary responsibilities of the associate engineer/designer are to develop new or upgraded designs of existing company and identified third-party parts. As required, convey design intent to graphics personnel through the utilization of ProE and/or AutoCAD.
- As needed, review and approve existing field assembly/arrangement drawings, part design models/detail drawings for compliance with requirements of form, fit, finish, applicable engineering design standards, codes, ISO procedures and Customer specifications.
- The qualified candidate will perform various engineering calculations, equipment sizing and data analysis under the direction of senior engineers.
- Assist in resolution of design, drawing or manufacturing related issues.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in and engineering discipline or equivalent.
- At least two years of design experience using Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD software.

This position is an immediate, full-time position and is located in Duncan, SC. Based on experience, salary will range from $55,000-$65,000.
