Job Listing: Associate Architectural Engineer

Our client, a leading international architecture firm offering programming, planning, design, strategic planning and consulting for existing structures is seeking an Associate Architectural Engineer for an immediate opportunity. They are a team of Architects, Structural Engineers, and scientist working together to resolve issues to buildings.

They have a cultivated a diverse portfolio of projects for private- and public-sector clients in the following practice areas: Corporate/Comerica, Cultural, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Housing, Laboratories, Mixed-use, Public Sector, Religious, Senior Living, Urban Design.


We our currently seeking a full-time Associate Architectural Engineer with the following responsibilities:

-Interest in building envelopes (experience is not required)
-Willingness to work in the field
-Prepares survey baseline drawings, measured drawings, CAD drawings and specifications, and prepare final project manual
-Prepares bid documents, agenda, change orders, drafts investigation reports, and other work products
-Conducts on-site observations of work in progress
-Research structure history and technical and code issues
-Plans and mobilizes for site inspections and investigations

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture/Construction Management plus 3-5 years of professional experience with a strong technical background. This position offers great opportunity for growth.

This Associate Architectural Engineer must be able to compile a complete set of construction documents.
