Job Listing: OLAP Essbase Developer

TEKsystems is currently looking for an OLAP Cubes/ Reports Developer for a client of ours in Newark, DE.

OLAP Cubes/Reports Developer with a strong Essbase background. The selected person will be building cubes and analytics based on reports. The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of relational databases and will also be helping on a Cognos to Essbase conversion. The client is a heavy UNIX environment so scripting/development skills are mandatory.


3+ years of SAS experience in a UNIX environment
4 years OLAP (Essbase) experience intermediate to expert level

Responsibilities will be as follows:
Executing and monitoring existing production cube build processes twice a month, enhancements to these cubes, tracking to Service Level Agreements, interaction with business partners to respond to questions, and participation in the development process for new cubes (code reviews, testing, and implementation)
