Job Listing: Electrical Engineer

Our client, a manufacturer of power protection equipment, has an immediate need for an Electrical Project Engineer. This individual will be responsible for:
--Leading projects to design and release new or enhanced models of Surge Protection Device products.
--Managing technicians, lab resources, and offshore contract resources for product development engineering work.
--Providing technical leadership for Surge Protection Device system development.
--Supporting Sales and Marketing departments to develop design concepts and project plans for new or modified products.
--Providing sustaining engineering support for power systems issues relative to Surge Protection Device product families.
--Participating in ongoing activities to continuously improve Surge Protection Device department productivity, design quality, and throughput.

Required Skills for Electrical Engineer Job:

  • MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF ELECTRONICS EXPERIENCE
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH POWER ELECTRONICS
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MICROPROCESSOR CONTROLLED SYSTEMS
  • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH COMPLEX ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS
  • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH ECN''''S AND BOM''''S AS WELL AS DOCUMENTATION SYSTEMS
  • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH REGULATORY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS
  • MUST HAVE GREAT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • EXPERIENCE WITH SURGE SUPPRESSOR OR SURGE DEVICE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED

    Rate: $70,000 to $85,000 per Year
