One of the world’s leading wealth management and advisory companies. Within there Global Wealth Management division lies the Retirement Group and Equity Award Services (EAS). EAS products include AwardChoice, which is the administrative platform for equity awards. FAS trak(r), AwardChoice’s financial reporting solution for SFAS 123(r), assists clients with SEC reporting requirements for equity based compensation arrangements. FAS trak(r) is a web-based software solution which enables our clients to value and report upon their equity based compensation arrangements.
Equity Reporting Analyst
- Identify key differences in reporting methodologies (client’s existing approach vs. approach of FASTrak(r)) and communicate to Team Leader
- Perform and analyze variance analyses and identify differences; educate client on variances
- Coordinate reconciliation activities across multiple internal ML departments, including Data Management, Client Service and Technology
- Develop set of reconciliation workpapers that document resolution of potential variances.
- Document common questions/variances on the Financial Reports for inclusion in Option Navigator/FAS trak(r) FAQ’s.
Requirements include:
- Experience in accounting for equity-based compensation arrangements under SFAS 123(r).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in GL reconciliation and/or corporate financial reporting
- Audit experience highly preferred
- In-depth understanding of financial reports/filings including balance sheet and income statement accounting, 10k and 10Q filings
- Strong analytical and/or quantitative skills and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel (macro development, pivot tables)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external clients
- Ability to effectively educate and train others
- Demonstrated ability to develop and meet project milestones and schedules for deliverables, and effectively communicate project status, requirements, and issues.
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible while responding quickly to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to self-learn complex subject matter quickly and independently
- Ability to work market hours if required: (9am – 5pm EST)
