Job Listing: Automatic Door Service Technician

Client Information: Our client has been serving the needs of the North American market. They have been able to meet the varying requirements of customers in metropolitan cities, outlying suburbs and rural outskirts. This team of door professionals provides application advice, sales, installation and service by AAADM trained technicians.

Position: Automatic Door Technician

Job Description:
1. Respond to service calls within the Mid Atlantic Region.
2. Respond to service calls provided by dispatcher.
3. Troubleshoot and evaluate automatic/manual door problems.
4. Use best judgment while working on problem for the most efficient way of repairing the door.
5. Provide On-Call service ability once every third week.
6. Start work at approximately 8:00 A.M. every calendar workday.
7. Report to your service manager/district manager when approaching 40 hours of work for each week.
8. Drive the company vehicle with care. Do not speed.
9. Report any Problems/Concerns with and only with your Service Manager/District Manager immediately. (Personal or work related)

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Experience in automatic door service/installation is preferred
3. General background in aluminum or glass glazing would be considered
4. Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
5. Ability and willingness to learn a new trade
6. Handle a company vehicle responsibly
7. Manage inventory on vehicle to ensure that each job can be completed onsite
8. Be available for paid on-call duty one weekend per month
