Job Listing: Quality Assurance Technologist

A leading supplier of composites to the transportation and industrial market, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technologist.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in the natural or physical sciences, engineering, or equivalent work experience. A focus in chemistry or chemical engineering a plus. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment.

-- Possess an ASQ Quality Technician certificate or be willing to become certified within the first 12 months of employment.

Duties will include:
-- Development of test methods and procedures.

-- Tensile strength testing.

-- Physical testing of materials.

-- Perform statistical process/product analyses.

Applicant must possess:

-- Strong statistical skills.

-- Good understanding of Blueprints.

-- Experience with interpret blueprints and use of basic dimensional measurement tools is a MUST.

-- Strong computer skills.

-- Good written and verbal communication skills.

-- Experience utilizing APQP and PPAP processes in the automotive or transportation industry a strong plus.
