Job Listing: Industrial Painter
North Columbus manufacturer is seeking experienced industrial paint finishers to join their crew. The right candidate will work from blueprints, shop orders, written procedures, and verbal instructions from a Supervisor. The Painter/Finisher must perform a variety of duties in respect to the departmental duties. These include Operating overhead cranes, Jib cranes, battery and Gas powered industrial trucks and hand trucks. Abrasive shot blasting equipment, Airless, Conventional, and HVLP paint spraying systems and stud welding machines. Air and electric powered man lifts. You must be able to operate a variety of hand tools from wrenches and drills to Dual Action sanders and mixing equipment. You must be skilled in rigging large weldments safely with chains, shackles, hooks from spreader bars to accommodate the painting of these weldments. The following details the areas of competency. Each operator is required to maintain set quality standards by use of visual checking and inspection equipment.

Required Skills
The Painter must have knowledge of metals, abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, and basic math. The individual must be able to read, write, and properly perform duties related to required paperwork. They also must be able to use or be capable of learning to use a computer to access blueprints, procedures and other job duty related information and communication.
